A stun gun is a type of self defense product whose sole purpose is to allow you time to escape a dangerous situation or seek help.

Stun Guns are handheld electrical self-defense weapons that use high voltage and low amperage to stop an attacker. Touching a person with the prongs of the stun gun quickly immobilizes the attacker for up to 10 minutes. No serious or permanent injury is inflicted because of the low amperage.
