Ahhh what can I say about shopping? How about I HATE it, no despise it, no loathe it-get the idea?
Shopping is what my fiancee does and I have to admit she is really good at it. She is the only person maybe in the world who can find an assortment of 500 different colors and sizes of widgets and ask if they have this or that in whatever color and darned if that isn't the one they don't have. AMAZING!!
I don't know how she does it but she can spend hours looking for stuff. Even in a restaurant she'll take forever to order--she has to look at every item. It's as though she has never heard of these things before.
"What kind of peanut butter do you use on your PB&J sandwich?" I love her to death though.
I am not sure if I am typical of the male gender but shopping to me is more "getting". I go to the store because I need something. I go in, find it and GET
it. That's what I do-no wasted motion. Just like the semi- efficient managerial type I am.
All joking aside shopping is the crux of the economy. It is the oil that makes the wheels of commerce go around. Think of all the things related to shopping besides the brick and mortar stuff.
All the marketing channels of distribution, advertising, merchandising, on and on it goes just to get you to shop at a place of business.
Shopping may not make the world go round but it makes Commerce go round. Our whole economy is built on the idea that shopping makes the world of commerce click.
