When I started doing research for this article I had no idea of the danger that nurses were in on a day to day basis. Here are a few facts. Close to 5 million Americans are victims of dog bites annually and those are the ones that are reported. Millions more go unreported. Of those close to 800,000 people require medical attention with almost half of them being kids. Scary facts if you ask me.
